RepNova ("we", "us", or "our") operates the RepNova mobile application. This page describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

Information We Collect

• Account information: Your email address, used for authentication.
• Workout data: Exercises, sets, reps, and weights you log during sessions.
• Nutrition data: Meals and photos you choose to log, including AI-generated macro breakdowns.
• Device & app data: Device type, operating system, app version, FCM push token, and anonymised crash reports and performance metrics collected via Firebase Crashlytics and Analytics.
• Equipment preferences: Gym equipment you have access to, used to personalise recommendations.
• Payment information: Subscription and purchase transactions, processed securely by the App Store or Google Play via RevenueCat. We never see or store your payment card details.

How We Use Your Data

• To provide and personalise the RepNova experience, including AI-powered workout and nutrition recommendations.
• To track your progress, streaks, achievements, and leaderboard rankings.
• To send push notifications you have opted into (e.g. workout reminders, streak alerts).
• To process subscription purchases and verify entitlements.
• To diagnose crashes and improve app performance through aggregated, anonymised analytics.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share limited data only with the following service providers, each bound by confidentiality obligations:

• Firebase (Google): Push notifications, analytics, and crash reporting.
• RevenueCat: Subscription and purchase management.
• Anthropic: AI-powered features. Only anonymised workout or meal context is sent — no personally identifiable information.
• Cloudflare R2 / AWS S3: Secure storage for meal photos.
• AWS SES / Resend: Transactional email delivery (e.g. login codes).

Children's Privacy

RepNova is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will delete it promptly. Contact us at support@repnova.app if you believe this has occurred.

Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. When you request account deletion, your personal data — including workout history, meals, and profile information — is permanently removed. Anonymised, aggregated analytics data may be retained.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (TLS), secure token storage, and strict access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to request a portable copy of your data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@repnova.app.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email.
